Get that competitive edge with Green Dragon
Groundwork Wales continues to support companies across Wales
Green Dragon, the Environmental Standard that recognises effective environmental management, is continuing to support companies across Wales looking for that competitive edge in today’s marketplace. Despite the news that its partner in Green Dragon, Arena Network, has gone into administration, Groundwork is continuing to support companies and organisations right across Wales with Green Dragon appraisals, audits and certification.
Ian McIntosh, Groundwork Wales Director said “Groundwork Wales jointly developed Green Dragon along with Arena Network. With the sad news that Arena has gone into administration Groundwork wants to ensure that the needs of Arena’s Green Dragon clients are met. We are ready to provide the Green Dragon Environmental Standard to those clients as well as our own. “Groundwork has worked across Wales supporting over 300 companies and organisations including local authorities, community groups and private sector businesses to achieve Green Dragon certification, and we will continue to do so.”
The Green Dragon Standard offers an environmental management system relevant to the specific and individual needs of companies and organisations, providing financial savings, compliance with legislation, environmental performance and increased competiveness.
Companies and organisations achieving any level of the Green Dragon Standard receive a certificate demonstrating the level of their achievements and commitment to environmental management. Companies and organisations achieving Levels Three, Four and Five also receive a plaque and are able to display the Green Dragon logo on their stationery and marketing materials, proving their environmental credentials to customers and other interested parties.
