Vacancy for Senior Play Worker

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Play Worker who,
together with our Assistant Play Worker, will play, organise and take part
in play and leisure activities for children between the ages of 4 and 11.
You will be expected to encourage fair and caring behaviour amongst the
children, whilst also encouraging independence and self-esteem. You will
liaise with parents, carers and sometimes other professionals. Duties
would also include keeping records, looking after petty cash and the
provision of snacks. Sessions are held Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm, term
time only.

Minimum requirements are:

NVQ Level 3 in Play Work, or equivalent.
At least 2 years experience in play work.

£6.50 per hour. 16 hours per week, to include 1 hour administrative work.
