Blackwood Conference & Meeting Facility

Fast approaching its second Anniversary, Blackwood Business Solutions is making quite an impression on businesses not just located on Wrexham Industrial Estate but as far a field as London and Cardiff too.

The purpose built centre was completed in March 2007 after the Directors, Stephen Elliott and Chris Edwards recognised that there was a distinct lack of “state of the art” and bespoke facilities for businesses wanting to take their training, seminars and meetings off site whilst still remaining local.

“Our train of thought was pretty straightforward” said Steve, “we wanted to provide a venue and a service that was accessible to all businesses, large and small, that was flexible enough to provide clients with as much or as little as they needed. We felt it needed to step away from the usual view that many people have of conference centres as being limited facilities and often an add-on to other services rather than being specifically geared for the purpose of providing an attractive and quality environment for training/meetings etc.” Those thoughts resulted in a stunningly furnished building that caters for every level of need. “Our clients are very discerning and can range from small businesses who request a room for interviews to the larger corporates who need a fully co-ordinated day for training and presentations to clients” says Lesley Wright, Manager “We believe we provide businesses with a unique facility which is well worth a visit to see exactly what we are able to offer.”
