Energy Saving Opportunities for Wrexham Industrial Estate

A recent visit of powerPerfector Plc to Wrexham Industrial Estate has
identified an opportunity for businesses across the Estate to make substantial
energy savings.

At the meeting Nick Harris of powerPerfector presented to a cross section
of our businesses, explaining the benefits of Voltage Power Optimisation
Technology. powerPerfector are already helping businesses across the
country like Tesco’s, Orange and RBS NatWest to name a few, and have produced savings of 10% to 20% for these companies.

powerPerfector exploits the fact that Voltage in the UK is supplied at an
average of 240V and the equipment we run is designed for a European market
which has Voltage of 220V. Our electrical equipment runs much more
efficiently and lasts longer if it is supplied Voltage at its correct level
which is between 220V-230V. powerPerfector Optimises the Voltages for your
equipments, protects against Voltage spikes up to 25,000V and improves the
power factor, by reducing phase imbalance and harmonics.

Paul Owen, our Arena Network representative arranged the meeting and also
took a Voltage meter around the site where he found the Voltage ranged from
248V to 235V, so there is an excellent opportunity for Voltage Optimisation
across the industrial estate.
