Wrexham Industrial Estate covers approximately 550 hectares and in geographical terms is one of the largest industrial estates in Europe, it accommodates around 300 businesses, employing 7000 staff, and creates a livelihood for Wrexham and North East Wales. In addition to these businesses, there are ninety Local Authority houses and approximately one hundred private dwellings within the confines of the estate together with a number of retail outlets.
Wrexham has a strong and diverse economy. The thriving business community on the Wrexham Industrial Estate varies in the nature and type of business operations, ranging from small indigenous operations to major multi-nationals and world class companies. A great many organisations have made substantial investments in the area and the fact that they continue to thrive and maintain their commitment to Wrexham Industrial Estate demonstrates that, as a location it provides a business environment in which they can prosper, flourish and feel confident enough to expand and re-invest.
